Meet Elly Filho
Client Relations Manager, eWaste Solutions
What is your role at eWaste Solutions?
Client Relations Manager. I focus on building strong, lasting relationships with our clients while also creating new opportunities for partnership and growth.
How long have you been with the team?
I joined eWaste Solutions on May 25, 2019 and it has been a rewarding journey ever since.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I like to start my day early by getting organized and reviewing emails and voicemails to stay on top of client communication. From there, I prioritize tasks based on urgency and client needs.
My day is a balance of preparing documents such as certificates and invoices, speaking with clients, and keeping accounts accurate and up to date. I also make time throughout the day to respond to questions and ensure everything is running smoothly. No two days are exactly the same, which keeps things engaging.
How has your career grown since starting here?
I have always pushed myself to grow and take on more than what is expected. Over time, I have had the opportunity to step into new challenges, contribute to projects outside my role, and build strong relationships across the company.
That combination of initiative, consistency, and being willing to speak up has helped me grow both professionally and personally.
The trust and respect. It is a place where your work is recognized, your voice matters, and you are given the freedom to do your job well.
What do you look forward to each day?
The unexpected. Every day brings something new, and that keeps me motivated and engaged.
What is your favorite part of being on the team?
The trust and respect. It is a place where your work is recognized, your voice matters, and you are given the freedom to do your job well.
A fun fact not many people know about you?
I love journaling and sketching. I try to make time for both regularly. I also enjoy photography and capturing everyday moments, especially with my family, who are my biggest priority. And despite everything else, I have a strong fear of basements.
