Cost depends on the volume and types of equipment you need recycled or destroyed. Pricing depends on the volume and types of equipment you need recycled or destroyed. On site data destruction, where we bring shredding equipment directly to your facility, is quoted separately based on volume, device types, and your location. Hard drive shredding, certified data wiping, and degaussing each have different pricing. Call us at 781-924-3071 or fill out our contact form with the types and quantities of equipment you need to retire. We respond quickly and there is no obligation to proceed after receiving a quote.
We accept virtually every category of electronic equipment, desktop computers, laptops, servers, server racks, monitors, networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), hard drives, solid-state drives, mobile phones, tablets, printers, copiers, fax machines, audio and video equipment, telephones and phone systems, medical equipment, dental equipment, laboratory equipment, GPS devices, cameras, camcorders, batteries and UPS systems, power supplies, circuit boards, cables, CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, DLT and backup tapes, and much more. If it has a power source or stores data, there is a very strong chance we can take it. Call us at 781-924-3071 for a full list.
Every data destruction job produces a Certificate of Destruction listing each device by serial number, the destruction method used, the date, and the certifying technician. Our methods meet or exceed NIST 800-88 and DOD standards, the same standards used by federal agencies. For the highest level of assurance, we offer on site destruction where our team brings shredding equipment directly to your location. Drives are physically destroyed on your premises, witnessed by your staff, before anything leaves the building. No drive leaves your facility intact.
Yes. eWaste Solutions serves all of Massachusetts, Boston, South Shore, Cape Cod, North Shore, and Western MA, as well as Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. We regularly serve clients across all of New England and can accommodate pickups beyond these states. If you are outside our standard service area, contact us at 781-924-3071 and we will confirm logistics and coverage. We are based at 50 Aldrin Road, Plymouth, MA 02360.
Yes to both. HIPAA requires covered entities and business associates to render protected health information completely unreadable and unrecoverable before disposing of equipment that stored it. We work regularly with hospitals, health systems, dental offices, and medical research facilities, our physical shredding, certified wiping, and on site destruction processes satisfy HIPAA requirements. For financial institutions, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and FTC Safeguards Rule require that customer financial data be destroyed so it cannot practicably be read or reconstructed. Our NIST 800-88 and DOD compliant destruction methods meet this standard. We issue Certificates of Destruction with full asset level documentation for your compliance and legal teams.
Yes. We provide detailed environmental impact reports for every client that requests them. These include total pounds of materials collected, a breakdown by material category (metals, plastics, circuit boards, batteries), carbon footprint reduction estimates, and landfill diversion rates, all tailored to your specific job, not a generic estimate. These reports are suitable for ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and compliance with frameworks like GRI and CDP. Many of our clients in healthcare, finance, and higher education use them to satisfy regulatory requirements and board level sustainability commitments. Contact us at 781-924-3071 to request yours.
